A Parkside Dog Walking & Pet Sitting offers group walks, solo walks and in-home pet sitting across the local area. Group walks, in which up to five dogs from different households are walked together for one hour, cost £14 per session; solo walks, for owners whose dog does not mix well with others or who simply prefer individual attention, cost £22 per hour. Both must be booked at least 24 hours in advance through the app. B A free introductory meeting is required before a dog's first booking of any kind, at which a walker assesses the dog's temperament, recall and behaviour around other dogs; a dog assessed as unsuitable for group walks may still be offered solo walks, and the assessment is repeated every twelve months or after any reported incident, whichever comes first, since temperament can change over time. C Keys for in-home visits are collected at the introductory meeting and kept in a coded lockbox at the office, never labelled with the owner's address or name, only a reference number matched separately in the booking system; this is standard practice across the pet-care industry and exists specifically so that a lost or stolen key cannot be traced back to a particular home. D Cancellations of a booked walk made more than four hours in advance are free; cancellations within four hours are charged at half the session rate, since a walker may already be travelling to the appointment or have turned down other bookings for that slot. Same-day booking is possible but not guaranteed, and depends entirely on a walker having an open slot in the area that day. E Medication can be administered during a visit only if written instructions are provided in advance through the app, including the exact dose and timing; a walker will never administer medication based on a verbal instruction given at the door, even from the owner directly, since a walker who administers the wrong dose based on a rushed verbal instruction has no written record to show what was actually agreed. Payment is taken automatically from the card on file after each completed booking, not in advance.
