Greenfield Camping & Caravan Park — Booking Information
Passage
A Greenfield Camping & Caravan Park is open from the last weekend in March until the end of October, and closed to visitors outside this season while essential maintenance work is carried out. The park has three types of pitch: tent pitches without electricity, tent pitches with a hook-up point, and larger caravan and motorhome pitches, all of which include access to the shower block and the on-site laundry. B Bookings can be made online up to twelve months in advance, or by phone for stays of three nights or fewer, which cannot be booked online during July and August, the park's two busiest months. A minimum stay of two nights applies on all weekend bookings between May and September; midweek bookings have no minimum stay at any time of year. C Two dogs per pitch are welcome free of charge, but must be kept on a lead at all times within the park, and are not permitted in the shower block, the laundry, or the small playground near reception. A designated dog-walking field is provided beyond the playground, away from other pitches. D Campfires are only permitted in the designated fire pit area near the entrance, never on individual pitches, due to the risk to the grass and to neighbouring tents; disposable barbecues, however, may be used on any pitch provided they are raised off the ground on bricks or a stand, which the park shop sells for a small fee. Firewood is sold at reception and outside firewood may not be brought onto the site, a rule introduced after an outbreak of a tree disease traced to firewood brought from elsewhere. E Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival receive a full refund minus a £10 administration fee; cancellations made within 14 days receive no refund unless the pitch can be rebooked to another visitor, in which case 50% is refunded. Guests are advised to arrange their own travel insurance if this level of risk is a concern.
