The diagram below shows how recycled paper is made. The process has six stages. First, used paper is collected from homes and offices and sorted by hand. Second, the paper is mixed with water and chemicals in a large machine to form pulp. Third, the pulp is cleaned and filtered to remove ink and other materials. Fourth, the clean pulp is spread on a wire mesh to drain the water. Fifth, the wet sheets are pressed and dried with heated rollers. Finally, the dry paper is rolled and cut into standard sizes. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
